As part of their official visit to Marib Governorate, the Ambassador of the European Union to Yemen, Gabriel Munuera Viأ±als, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jeannette Seppen, accompanied by a diplomatic delegation, conducted a field tour of some of Yemen’s most iconic archaeological sites, including the Throne of Balqees and the Awam Temple.
​During the tour, the ambassadors explored the historical landmarks that embody the deep-rooted civilization and rich history of Yemen, which stand as a testament to a unique human heritage.
​In their remarks during the visit, the diplomatic delegation emphasized that these historical landmarks represent a cornerstone of global cultural memory. They stressed that preserving this unique heritage is a top priority for future generations and a shared responsibility to ensure the protection of Yemen’s cultural legacy.
